04 / CONSTRUCTION PHASE

Once the floor plan has been approved the process of developing the design details for your home begins. The first phase of Design Development is the Interior Architectural Design Phase. During this phase all finishes and fixtures will be selected, detailed drawings of interior elevations, custom millwork, ceiling designs, and custom lighting will be generated.

The second phase of Design Development is the Furnishings Phase.
For each of the Design Phases you will then be hosted for a presentation where you will see the whole story of your project.

All approved design directives for the Interior Architectural details will be comprehensively dimensioned and notated with all approved FF&E’s and provided in a CAD generated CD set to be given to the builder for finalized project estimating and project execution.

All approved finishes, fixtures and architectural details are compiled into a comprehensive Specification Packages that are provided to the client and the builder.

Lindsey Schultz Design maintains an ongoing presence throughout the construction process, meeting on site and off site with necessary trades to ensure proper execution of the design intent.

It is not uncommon that the built environment requires us to make modifications on site. We come together as a team with the Architect, the Builder and any necessary trades to discuss our options and work towards the most desirable outcome for your project.

"I’ve had the privilege of working with Lindsey Schultz on three very unique and challenging custom remodels and from a builders perspective she is wonderful. our philosophy

Each human soul is unique and the homes those souls inhabit should reflect the intricate differences that make each one special. Tailoring the structures in which we live out our lives to enhance and elevate the differences that make every human being unique, is the essence behind Lindsey’s design practice.

This philosophy stems from her deep belief that interiors should artfully balance the masculine and the feminine. Inspired by intertwinings of subtle consistencies between elements that are seemingly so different, her expertly curated designs exist in harmony with their surroundings and beautifully enhance the environment.

Lindsey's approach to design is much like her approach to life: challenge yourself and those around you to think and act outside of the box, so that together we can strive for better and greater things. Be bold, never boring. Take chances. Expand your horizons. And most of all, live to feed your soul.
