TYPICAL PROJECT PHASES:

Conceptual Design Phase

This phase consists of in-depth conversations about your lifestyle, your likes, and your dislikes. We work together exploring concept images to establish the aesthetic directive of your project.

Design Development & Presentation

Once the floor plan has been approved the process of developing the design details for the interior architectural detailing phase and/ or furnishings phase. During this time all finishes and fixtures will be selected, detailed drawings of interior elevations, ceiling designs, custom furnishings, and custom lighting will be generated.

You will then be hosted in our studio for a full design presentation where you will see the whole story of your project.

Construction Documents and Specifications

All approved design directives for the Interior Architectural details will be comprehensively dimensioned and notated with all approved FF&E’s and provided in a CAD generated CD set to be given to the builder for finalized project estimating and project execution.

All approved finishes, fixtures and architectural details are compiled into a comprehensive Specification Book provided to the client and the builder.

Construction Phase

Lindsey Schultz Design maintains an ongoing presence throughout the construction process, meeting on site and off site with necessary trades to ensure proper execution of the design intent.

Though we do our very best to make sure all details are nailed down prior to the start of construction, it is not uncommon that the built environment requires us to make modifications on site. We come together as a team with the Architect, the Builder and any necessary trades to discuss our options and work towards the most desirable outcome for your project.

Installation Phase

Lindsey Schultz Design is on site with their team of trusted installers to deliver and set up all of your beautiful new furnishings, hang art, place every last accessory, dress the beds, and provide you with a turn-key experience. When we have finished, all you will need to do is open a bottle of wine, kick up your feet, and take it all in.
